Brief Description:

This record group is comprised of oral histories with Holocaust survivors, recorded between 1982 and 1995, that reflect largely the East European Jewish experience before, during, and after the Holocaust. This record group is permanently open for accessions, by the deposition of new testimonies taped by the families of survivors.

Materials in this record group include video interviews recorded on Beta and ¾ VHS tapes.The corpus of these testimonies have been transferred to magnetic media, and are now available on the Museum server. A number of these oral histories have been transcribed.
