Historical Note: Kien, Peter was a Jewish artist and poet. His arts resembles in style Kafka's narratives. Peter Kien continued creative work in the Theresienstadt ghetto. Kien also authore the libretto to Viktor Ullmann's Der Kaiser von Atlantis that was composed and reheased in the ghetto. On October 16, 1944, Kien and his family were deported to Auschwitz. It was one of the last transport from Theresienstadt. He died soon from disease after his arrival at the age of twenty-five.
